Product Description
PT sample set consists of 8 vials in total. Three vials contain the food matrix selected by the customer (Dairy, Meat, or Egg Matrix), and then five numbered vials that can contain S. aureus enterotoxin. At least two of the numbered enterotoxin vials will be positive for S. aureus enterotoxin. S. aureus enterotoxin is derived from S. aureus NCTC 12973. The food matrices are negative for S. aureus enterotoxin and are considered matrix blanks. PT instructions are provided and are available online. Results will be reported online using our PT Datalink. This proficiency test will be available during the quarterly Food Microbiology PT Studies.
